From My Hands to Yours

I just made my first sale in my Etsy shop! Yayy! I will be shipping out this dress today. It's kind of amazing to think of something that I made with my own two hands will making it's way across the miles to be worn by a little girl unknown to me. Will she feel the love I put into it? I hope so. :)

Covered in quilts of snow

Our land is bleak and raw
My soul, too, feels scraped bare
Frozen with the flakes that fall
Darkness surrounds
A small voice pierces the dawn
With freshness and warmth
Tiny arms reach
From beneath the blankets
A warm mouth finds comfort
